    Sacramento Youth Symphony’s Chamber Music Workshop, Week 1

    Concluding Concert on Friday, June 30, 1:00pm, St. Anthony Parish, Sacramento, no tickets required The Sacramento Youth Symphony is proud to offer the 28th Annual Summer Chamber Music Workshop, under the direction of Susan Lamb Cook.  Founded in 1990, the summer session of the Sacramento Youth Symphony's Chamber Music Workshop offers an intensive week of ensemble playing, introducing young musicians, ages 7-12 (Week 1) and 11-19 (Week 2), to chamber music literature and rehearsal techniques.  This program offers individualized coaching with professionals in the performance field, as well as concerts including all participants at the conclusion of the Workshop.

    The Saarburg Festival

    The Saarburg Festival is open to young instrumentalists and chamber musicians from around the world, and provides chamber music coaching, lessons, master classes, and performance opportunities in a wonderfully enriching and supportive environment.  It is a chamber music festival for talented high school / college students and young professionals, and is designed as an advanced training program for singers, pianists, composers, and instrumentalists.  Emphasis is placed on individual music enrichment and advancement in an environment of encouragement and collaboration.

    Classical Music Festival
