Great Composers Chamber Music Series

Now in its 15th year, the “Rising Stars” program was designed by Susan Lamb Cook to offer advanced music students the opportunity to study and perform works from the chamber music repertoire in an enriching and supportive environment. Each group on this program will meet for three 90-minute coaching sessions, which will take place over the course of five days. The students will then have the opportunity to share their music with residents at Eskaton Village in Carmichael, the University Retirement Community in Davis, and present their final concert at the Harris Center. These performances will provide these young musicians with a professional level experience that will help shape their continued musical studies.
